ATHLEEMA 2024
A spectacular celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and enthusiasm emerged during ATHLEEMA 2024, the year’s premier sporting event. More than three thousand students from different schools gathered from February 28th to March 2nd, 2024, to take part in a wide range of athletic events. Being attended by the distinguished Mr. Ranvijay Singha, a famous sports fan and TV personality, as the Chief Guest, the event attracted a great deal of attention and enthusiasm.
Day 1 started with the Inaugration of the event, where Dr. Sandeep Marwah announced ATHLEEMA open, along with Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastav, Mr. Saurabh Sharma & Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina the three Directors of Asian Education Group. Mr. Marwah filled the environment with motivation & zeal for sports with his enthusiastic speech, later the Director Sirs also motivated the sportsmen to keep their spirits high.
Mr. Ranvijay Singha’s presence brought an additional level of enthusiasm and inspiration. In his role as Chief Guest, he brought an electrifying presence to the event and inspired everyone there with his wise words and wise counsel. The young athletes were moved to tears by his words, which encouraged them to chase after greatness with unfaltering determination
The incredible turnout of more than 3,000 pupils demonstrated the immense passion and energy that the youth have for athletics. Athletes from all over the world joined forces, demonstrating the incredible variety and skill on display in athletic competitions. An atmosphere of acceptance and solidarity was fostered by the event’s multiculturalism.
There was a wide variety of sports represented at ATHLEEMA 2024, from individual pursuits like track and field, Carrom, Chess to team games like cricket, basketball, football, Kabaddi and volleyball. Competitors showed great talent, perseverance, and sportsmanship in each of the fierce confrontations that took place. Cheers, cries, and the excitement of triumph filled the air.
Even outside of the competition, ATHLEEMA 2024 was a great place to meet new people and strengthen existing ones. Through their common interest in athletics, participants were able to form bonds with classmates from all walks of life. By bringing people together in an atmosphere of mutual regard and friendship, the event helped break down boundaries and create a feeling of community among athletes.
The Event ended with the Valedictory on 2nd Mar 24, where all the Winners & Runner Ups got their awards & Rewards from the respected Dr. Sandeep Marwah Sir, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastav, Mr. Saurabh, & Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina. All the winners were so excited & overwhelmed with their achievement and celebrated their winning.
ATHLEEMA 2024 is proof that sports can unite people, spark interests, and develop skills. Everyone who had the good fortune to be a part of the event will never forget how it summed up the values of sportsmanship, perseverance, and unity. Even though ATHLEEMA 2024 came to an end, the experiences, connections, and wisdom gained by those who attended will be with them forever.
Athleema 2023, Annual Sports Meet
Asian Business School, Noida held its 10th annual sports meet, ATHLEEMA 2023 from 4th-7th April 2023 at Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi with great enthusiasm and glory, much accentuated by the glorious presence of Prince Narula – The King of Reality Show as the chief guest for the occasion.
A total of 63 top colleges of Delhi NCR and 3000 students participated in this mega inter-college sports meet including the two other constituent group colleges of Asian Education Group, namely Asian School of Business (ASB) & Asian Law College (ALC).
The inaugural function on 4th April 2023 began with the auspicious torch-lighting ceremony, ignited by the chief guest, Mr. prince Narula; Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President-AEG; and Directors AEG, namely Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina. After this, the distinguished dignitaries on the dais inspired the participating students with some zestful speeches.
The inaugural ceremony of the Athleema 2023 was full of energy and hope of winning the trophies could be seen in all the participants. The Athleema 2023 was declared open by Dr. Sandeep Marwah followed by the start of the first game/ match of every sport.
Games in which competition was held included Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Table Tennis, Tug-O-War, Basket Ball Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Athletics (Shot Put & 100m Race), Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Pool.
After three days of great competitions, the grand Valedictory function for ATHLEEMA-Season 10 was held on Friday, 7th April 2023 at the AEG campus in Noida to felicitate students for their exemplary performance and zealous participation at the games.
The Trophies were awarded by, Dr. Sandeep Marwah – President AEG; the Directors of AEG, namely Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina; who aptly complimented and applauded the winners.
All in all, the 10th annual sports meet ATHLEEMA 2022 turned out to be a huge success and left behind a trail of great memories and achievements for students to cherish for a long time.
Yoga and Zumba Session @ ABS
Yoga is considered to be the one of the most effective ways of keeping oneself healthy and positive.
It eases the body mind and soul. Asian Business School understands the need of the having a relaxed body and mind for the growth and development of every individual. Keeping this in mind on 9th January 2023 ABS organized a Yoga and Zumba session from 2:30 pm onwards in the sports arena of the campus.
The first session was taken by Mr. Gurpal Singh the sports instructor who made the students do Sukhasana with chanting followd by Sukshamvyayam. He made the students perform various other asanas that included- Standing asana (Taadasana, Trikonasan, Vrikshasan, Garudasan, Ardhchakarasan), Sitting Asana (Ardhmatsendrasan, Trikonasana, Vrikshasana, Garudasana, Ardhchakarasana), Reclining (Bhujangasana, Naukaasan, Setubandasan, Halasan, Sarvangasan), Pranayama and Surya Namaskar. The instructor, Mr. Gurpal Singh, also explained the importance of yoga in everyday life to the students.
The second session was of Zumba which was taken by Ms. Meenal Pathak, founder of Mee Studies, she is also a celebrity fitness coach. She made the students do Zumba on the tapping numbers. Students enjoyed both the students for around 45 minutes each.
The event was concluded by the felicitation of the instructors by Dr. Preeti Sharma, Head DSW.
Athleema-The Sports Club of ABS organizes a well-received Sports Quiz Competition, “HIT THE POST”!
Undeterred by the lockdown conditions in the wake of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, Athleema-The Sports Club at Asian Business School organized a well-received Sports Quiz Competition by the name of “HIT THE POST” on Saturday, 5th December 2020, which was essentially a Sports Specific Quiz covering a variety of popular sports. However, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and keeping in mind the social distancing norms, this event was conducted via online medium through the Zoom platform.
The event saw the students participate with full zeal and enthusiasm.
There were many Audio/Visual Rounds in the quiz like Identify Sportsperson, Identify the Arena, Audio Round-Listen, Attentive Eye Balls, Team Game, and Needle the Haystack. In each round, the students were required to name the Sportsperson or Arena, or Sports, etc.
As stated earlier, the event was organized on the Zoom application where students were supposed to write answers in the Chat Message Box.
In total, 64 students participated in the event.
The winners of this competition were Mr. Saksham Mittal (who secured the 1st position), Mr. Alok Gupta (who secured the 2nd position), and Ms. Akanksha Kirpal (who secured the 3rd position).

Asian Business School – which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR imparting PGDM degree courses in Noida – held its 8th annual sports meet, ATHLEEMA 2020 from 21st-23rd January 2020 at the imposing Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi with great enthusiasm and glory, much accentuated by the glorious presence of the Indian football legend, Mr. Baichung Bhutia as the chief guest for the occasion.
A total of 50 top colleges of Delhi NCR participated in this mega inter-college sports meet including the two other constituent group colleges of Asian Education Group, namely Asian School of Business (ASB) & Asian Law College (ALC).
The inaugural function on 21st January 2020 began with the auspicious torch-lighting ceremony, ignited by the chief guest, Mr. Baichung Bhutia; Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President-AEG; and Directors AEG, namely Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina. After this, the distinguished dignitaries on the dais inspired the participating students with some zestful speeches.
While Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava (Director, AEG) inspired the participants with his encouraging welcome speech, Mr. Saurabh Sharma (Director, AEG) motivated the participants to inculcate sportsmanship not just on the ground but also in their personal lives. Then, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina (Director, AEG) motivated the participants and evoked the students to be true and honest in their actions.
Addressing the energetic young audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President-AEG, himself a highly acclaimed international media personality, charged the ambience of the occasion with his customary inspiring speech delivered in his inimitable style laced with the rendition of a few motivational couplets. Talking about the ever increasing participation of colleges and students in AEG’s Annual Sports Meet, ATHLEELMA, Dr. Marwah disclosed his “wish to make it a truly National Event in the coming years.”
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Mr. Baichung Bhutia said that it felt especially great to be at AEG’s ATHLEELMA 2020 because he had never attended a college or school annual sports meet where thousands of students from 50 colleges had come to participate in the event. Encouraging the students for their enthusiastic presence, Mr. Bhutia also lamented that “students show active interest in sports & games while at school and they normally stop playing once they complete their schooling, which is not the way it should be and students should not stop playing but they should pursue their interests and skills and continue to take their games to the next level of achievement.”

After two days of great competitions at Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, Jasola, New Delhi on 21st & 22nd January 2020, the grand Valedictory function for ATHLEEMA-Season 8 was held on Thursday, 23rd January 2020 at the AEG campus in Noida to felicitate students for their exemplary performance and zealous participation at the games. The distinguished guests for the function included Dr. Suniel Parashar, well-known Film Producer & Film Director and Mr. Ram Avatar, President-Football Federation of India.
Prizes were given away by these distinguished guests along with AEG President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah; the Directors of AEG, namely Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina; and Dr. Saleem Akhtar, Director-ALC – who aptly complimented and applauded the winners.
The “Golden Boot Award” in Football went to Roshan Singh of PGDAV and the “Man of the Series Award” in Cricket went to Karamvir, also from PGDAV. The ‘AEG Sportsperson of the Year Award’ for boys and girls went to Leesan Ul Nabi of ASB in the male category and Nilu Prasad of ABS in the female category.
A very important highlight of the valedictory function was the Poster Release of “FIT INDIA” initiative by the Prime Minister of India, where all three constituent group colleges of AEG – viz. ABS, ASB & ALC – are proactively active on this program.
The valedictory function came to a close with the customary ‘Vote of Thanks’ delivered by Mr. Ravi Sharma, Dean-CRC, Asian Business School.
All in all, the 8th annual sports meet ATHLEEMA 2020 turned out to be a huge success and left behind a trail of great memories and achievements for students to cherish for a long time.

In the pursuit of academic success, students sometimes need a break from the routine classroom studies and an opportunity to release pent-up energy. While academic success is no small feat, students who participate in the extracurricular activitiestend to reap more benefits.
With the view to keep the environment in campus fun filled and enthusiastic, we do conduct Club Activities every Saturday. The aim of these activities is to develop various technical and non- technical skills in our students for their overall growth and development along with education.
