Asian Business School’s Entrepreneurship Development & Incubation Centre (EDIC) celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, with the objective of inspiring young minds to reflect on their role in nation-building. On this occasion, the institute organized an Extempore Competition on the theme “Reimagining India 2047: The Power of Today’s Youth.” The event aimed to encourage students to express their ideas spontaneously while enhancing their communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from PGDM students across various specializations. Participants shared their perspectives on India’s future journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047, highlighting the significance of youth-led innovation, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, sustainability, and social responsibility. Students were evaluated by a panel of faculty members based on content relevance, clarity of thought, confidence, time management, and overall presentation.

The event proved to be highly engaging and intellectually stimulating, providing students with a valuable platform to voice innovative ideas and opinions. The celebration of National Youth Day reinforced the vision of Swami Vivekananda and emphasized the power and responsibility of today’s youth in shaping the future of India.
