Orientation 2015
August 4, 2015Synergy 2015 and Conclave 2015. Both the themes brought to the fore great interaction with the stalwarts of the industry as the Orientation program at Asian Business School moved into its 2nd and 3rd day. The idea was to discuss and highlight the Alignment of Corporate Expectations and the Conventioning of the Best Management Practices.
The Central Hall was abuzz with excitement and enthusiasm as both the PGDM 2015-17 batch and PGDM 2014-16 batch students were all geared up to attend the session and listen to some of the eminent people from the industry. Top notch personalities from renowned business houses were present to inspire and motivate the students.
The session began with the lighting of the lamp and the welcome address by Dr. Lalitya Srivastava – Director Academics. He once again welcomed the keen and enthusiastic students to the Asian Business School and emphasized on how important it is take ownership for your actions in order to gain good results.
Mr. Sandeep Marwah – Founder and Chairman – Asian Education Group enthralled the students with his inspiring quotes and speeches. He highlighted the need to be resilient and hardworking and also stated that one needs to be willing to make sacrifices in order to gain success.
The interaction with distinguished guests like Mr. Deepak Jolly (VP – Public Affairs & Communication, Coca Cola India Pvt. Ltd), Mr. Subhadip Biswas (Lead – Global Business, Policy Advocacy & Partnerships Policy & Communication Group IL&FS Education & Technology Services Limited), Mr. Daleep Manhas (GM & Associate Vice President, McCann Health) Ms. Jaya Mishra (Head – Credence Global), Ms. Anu Kohli (Strategy and Business Planning, Microsoft US) and Mr. Akhil Iyer (Head – Centre of Excellence, British Council) left the students mesmerized and instilled in them the zeal, enthusiasm and passion to take on the challenges of the future.
Post lunch, management activities and interaction with the senior students created a friendly environment and made them feel more at home.
