How to get admission in MBA/PGDM, if BBA is done from an autonomous university/institute?

Eligibility Criteria

All the aspiring applicants for a PGDM course at Asian Business School needs to be graduate from a recognized university. Candidates who appearing in the final year are also eligible provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria within 15 days from the date of publication of the result and latest before the prescribed deadline given by AICTE.

 

Selection Process

The selection process at Asian Business School comprises of 4 Steps. At Step 1, the score of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT will be taken as the preliminary score of admission.

At Step 2, the applicants shortlisted on the basis of the qualifying exam scores will be called for the Institute’s selection process, and the dates will be duly intimated to the short-listed students.

At Step 3, the preparation of Merit List will be done based on the criteria of (i) Score in the Common Admission test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) – 35% weightage; Score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree – 15% weightage; Group discussion/interview – 45% weightage; Participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular activities; and Academic diversity and Gender diversity – 5 % weightage.

Finally, at Step 4, the candidate, if selected as per merit list, will be given the selection letter. The selected candidate needs to pay the registration fee within the given deadline, failing which the offer will be considered as cancelled.

The documents required for admissions in ABS PGDM programmes include 10th Mark sheet and certificate; 12th Mark sheet and certificate; Graduation Mark sheets and Degree; CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT score card; and 4 recent passport size photographs.

Another important thing to note is that the applicant is required to carry three set of the photocopy of the documents (duly attested by a gazetted officer) along with the original documents at the time of admission.
