January 22, 2020Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standard aptitude test conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) that serves the purpose of admission in MBA/PGDM programs in over 600 business schools and Post Graduate Diploma in Management colleges across India.
The paper-based exam consists of 200 questions that are required to be completed in the total time duration of 150 minutes. The MAT Exam Pattern is as follows:
- MAT is an objective-type test which consists of 200 MCQs with 40 questions from each of the 5 sections – viz., Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Indian & Global Environment.
- Exam Duration Timing for MAT will be of 2 hours & 30 minutes in duration. The paper-based test will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm., whereas the online mode of the exam will take place in multiple shifts.
- Marking Scheme is each question carries 1 mark for right answer. For marking a wrong answer, ¼ marks would be deducted as a penalty.
- There is no section-wise time limit and thus, you can move back and forth between sections.
