Budget Session at Asian Business School
March 3, 2012The LIVE telecast of the Union Budget was students of Asian Business School observed, evaluated by the students and teachers of Asian Business School. They participated in the complete analysis of the Union Budget 2012 from basics to business; understanding the implications of the budget for a common man, a home maker or a sector per se. The tech savvy campus provided the amphitheatre as a discussion ground.The session was organised to give students a perspective as to how a union budget impacts our day to day life and the environment where we thrive to work. The objective of today’s session was to encourage among the students, debates and discussions relevant to the business environment of the nation. While the session was broadcasted to the students, the learned faculties simplified financial jargons. Also, the students contributed with their understanding on certain key issues, such as inflation, hike of service tax, increase in custom duty for gold, increase in excise duty.
The entire exercise of debate and discussion was complemented with a hot cup of coffee and snacks.
