Asian Education Group’s much awaited annual inter college cultural fest, “KESSHET 2020 – Season 7” is finally here! Scheduled for Saturday, 29th February 2020, the exciting event will be held at the precincts of Asian Education Group (AEG) campus in Noida. And the star attraction for this edition of this fest is the famous Indian-Canadian Punjabi playback singer and songwriter, Jaswinder Singh Bains, aka Jazzy B!
Based on the theme of ‘Colours of Spring’, “KESSHET 2020 – Season 7” once again promises to become a platform to position students of various streams and institutions under one common roof of participation to explore, learn, share and innovate. The event this year is again expected to unfold as a perfect blend of an array of colorful activities ranging from literary bent to theatre-based events and cultural events amongst others.
Providing a wonderful platform to the student community at large to showcase different shades of their skill, talent, creativity and knowledge, the Fest draws the best talent from more than 50 institutes across the nation, covering areas ranging from music and drama to literary events, games and creative explosion in graffiti spreading various colours at AEG campus.
The mega event this year comprises of 18 sub-events divided into 2 days – namely, Graffiti, Wizard-Computer Game, Singing, War of Brains-G.K. Quiz, Rangoli-Spray of Colours, Flamboyant Spring (Fashion Show), Battle of Bands, Rock the Floor (Solo Dance), Rock the Floor (Duet Dance), Rock the Floor (Group Dance), Hamari Adalat, Nukkad Natak, Word Power, Crafter’s Clay, Funk Out of Junk, Volte Face-Turncoat Competition, MIME, and Talaash-Detective Game.

AEG KESSHET 2019 – Funk Out of Junk
Asian Business School (a part of Asian Education Group) – ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – recently held its annual inter-college cultural fest by the name of AEG ‘KESSHET 2019-Season 6’ on Thursday, 17th January 2019 at its campus in Noida with full fanfare and gusto, all in the filmy style. One of the interesting event activity at this gala celebration was the “Funk Out of Junk” competition.
This event activity was set in the backdrop of the ever increasing problem of generation of waste in our society, predominantly from households and industries, which we now require a very innovative approach to get rid of the same. This event was supposed to bring such ideas to the notice of students and help them to think on ways of recycling the waste material that will not only reduce the waste but provide them with useful household products as well.
Each team consisted of two members only and the participants were allowed 1 hour to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about the same. The required waste material and stationery like scissors, thread etc. had to be brought by the participants on their own.
The waste material here could have been anything like tetra packs, used bottles, old newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second-hand items. The students were cautioned that the material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second-hand item. They were also made to note that no ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted.
Participants were judged based on creativity, utilization of resources, artistic composition & design, eco-friendly rating, utility of the product and overall presentation.
The names of the winners for this event were Mili & Muskan from PGDAV College, New Delhi.

AEG KESSHET 2019 – Hamari Adalat
Asian Business School (a part of Asian Education Group) – ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – recently held its annual inter-college cultural fest by the name of AEG ‘KESSHET 2019-Season 6’ on Thursday, 17th January 2019 at its campus in Noida with full fanfare and gusto, all in the filmy style. One of the interesting event activity at this gala celebration was the “Hamari Adalat” competition.
“Hamari Adalat” was planned as an attempt to harness the public opinion on relevant and prevailing social issues. The event was supposed to help the participants to speak out their mind on issues having an impact on society at large. The program envisaged the knowledge, awareness and sensitivity to socio-legal aspects of society and nation as a whole.
To participate, each team needed to have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 participants. Being an attempt to re-create the ambience of a court room scene, the participants were in the capacity of 1 as an interviewer, 1 as an interviewee and the rest as audience. The interviewer asked questions to interviewee regarding the prevailing current legal and social issues, and the audience of the team were allowed to share their views on the topic. The teams were to be judged on the basis of content, knowledge, command over the issue, deliberation on the given topic.
The topics/theme for discussion were allotted to teams by draw of lots which took place on the date of competition. Each team got 15 minutes to perform and discuss the topic assigned to them by draw of lots, and the initial 5 minutes was provided to the concerned team to discuss amongst themselves.
The names of the winning team members of this event were Sukriti, Aditya, Piyush & Shameshar from Asian Law College, Noida.

AEG KESSHET 2019 – War of Brains (General Quiz)

One of the interesting event activity at this gala celebration was the “War of Brains (General Quiz)” competition.
“Knowledge is Power”, so it is said! And, in many ways it does make sense.
The team event “War of Brains” at “KESSHET 2019 – Season 6” provided the best chance to the brainy-types to prove their grip over the affairs of the world and to exhibit their high levels of general awareness.
As per the rules & regulations of the event, to begin with, shortlisting of the teams were carried out as only 6 teams could participate in the final round on stage. Each team was given a set of question paper containing 25 multiple choice objective type questions for purpose of shortlisting.
It was a team event with each team comprising of 2 members and the questions were in the form of multiple choice, true/false statement, specific-answer question, audio or video based, etc. The event was held in multiple rounds, and the specific rules and regulations of individual rounds were let known at time of event.
The names of the winning team members for this event were Saurabh Kr. Tiwary and Tushar Maheshwari.

One of the interesting event activity at this gala celebration was the “Wizard – Computer Game” competition.
“Wizard – Computer Game” competition was for those who say that you like computer games better than anything else in your life! Well, “KESSHET 2019 – Season 6” had something especially for them as well!
Several contestants joined the fun of LAN Gaming at this action-packed Annual Inter College Cultural Fest held at Asian Education Group on 17th January 2019. The Game Name was “Need for Speed (NFS)”.
To refresh you quickly about the rules & regulations, participants were divided into batches of four each, and it also varied depending the number of participants. At the end of Round One, the leading participant was selected for the next round and so on till the time there was a winner. It was mandated that there should not be any discussion between participants or use of any unfair means. Individual players had to show their race timings to the event coordinator, and the team was warned that intentional disruption would lead to disqualification.
The name of the winner of this event was Shikhar Saxena.

AEG KESSHET 2019 – Case Analysis
Asian Business School (a part of Asian Education Group) – ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – recently held its annual inter-college cultural fest by the name of AEG ‘KESSHET 2019-Season 6’ on Thursday, 17th January 2019 at its campus in Noida with full fanfare and gusto, all in the filmy style. One of the interesting event activity at this gala celebration was the “Case Analysis” competition.
The competition was meant for those who were looking for something slightly more serious, away from the musical and the theatrical events, but sporty all the same.
The event required that one have a bent towards managerial skills and who believed that they could plan strategies while working for Corporate.
As per the rules of the game, the participant/team were given a case study on the date of the fest. The participants/teams were asked to make a presentation within the given stipulated time on the analysis of that particular company. Subsequently, the participants/teams were scrutinized according to their analysis and justifications presented.
As far as the composition of the team was concerned, each team could have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members. All the members needed to be from same college. Again, any participant could not be part of more than one team, and no change of team structure was permitted after the team got registered.
